FAIR PLAY RULES

Updated 7 Sep 2026
1. BLOCKING - Blocking goal kicks or free kicks with skills, sidekicks, bicycle kicks, headers or simply by trapping at a range of two tackles is not allowed and will result in a yellow card and a redo of said goalkick or free kick. VISUAL BLOCKING - Visual blocking of free kicks is not allowed and is to be prevented by letting no player from any team stand in the direction of the free kick heading towards the opposing goal at a range of two tackles. Breaking this rule will result in a yellow card. If a free kick results in a goal while this rule is broken, the fair play rule takes effect. 2. GOALKEEPER HANDBALL RULING - Picking a ball back up by any means after playing it (e.g.: using the split save feature) is not allowed and will result in an indirect free kick outside of the box. 3. GOALKEEPER BACK-PASS - A goalkeeper is not allowed to grab a back-pass from a teammate in any way. If grabbed, the opposing team will be rewarded with a indirect free kick outside of box. 4. GOALKEEPER REBOUND AND STEAL - A goalkeeper is allowed to grab a rebound or steal from a teammate if the opposing team previousy had ball possession. 5. GOALKEEPER SLIP-UPS - If a goalkeeper drops the ball when they shouldn't, such as if they haven't given any physical input, they will be awarded a free kick, but only if they can't shoot the ball away in case there is a opposition player. If a goalkeeper doesn't catch a shot and it goes through him, even though the catching animation plays, the fair play rule takes effect. 6. FAIR PLAY RULE - If a goal was scored due to a circumstance or breaking of a rule in Fair Play Rules which mentions the fair play rule, the goal will be negated.
